Donna and Peter welcome you to their friendly, traditional village pub offering a warm welcome to all our customers. We serve a fine selection of cask ales, lager, cider, spirits and wines. For those wanting something to eat, we offer a snack, main menu and specials board, with a traditional carvery on a Thursday and Sunday lunch. There are two cosy guest rooms in a separate converted cowshed, complete with Wi-Fi and en-suite with shower. 
Situated in the village of Newbold in North-West Leicestershire, with Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold virtually on our doorstep, we are approximately 3 miles from Ashby de la Zouch and just over 7 miles from East Midlands Airport and Castle Donnington,  with excellent links to the M1 and A42.
